Circe used the opportunity to plant the soul of vengeful Ariadne within Magala's body. With both Amazons and Bana-Mighdall oblivious to Circe's scheming, Magala engineered new civil unrest between the tribes.

Magala was also ordered by Hippolyta to transfer a portion of Diana's might to her closest competitor when a new Wonder Woman was being chosen. The transfer went to Artemis, who bested her.
