The East Indian sorceress Jinx was a student of an occult master. She murdered her teacher after learning his sorcerous secerts. She was recruited by Gizmo to strengthen the Fearsome Five in their attempts to destory the Teen Titans. With the Titans out of the way, the Five were confident they would rapidly reap riches through crime. Insread they were defeated and Jinx was sent to India for trial. She was returned to the U.S. when local authorities could not control the mage.

She has worked with Villainy Inc. of late and met defeat at the hands of Wonder Woman. Recently she has rejoined the reconstituted Fearsome Five and fought the Outsiders.
